Not Evil Enough
I have been told so many times before that I somehow lack the *evil* gene. Now yes, I know that’s a good thing, but I somehow feel I need to be a bit naughty.
Sure, I can lie a bit, cheat a bit, even hurt people a bit– but it seems I will never be evil enough. I make mistakes sure, but that doesn’t count as being evil because it’s part of being a human being.
Har. I remember someone telling me off when I tried to crack a joke way back…

What?!
How evil should one be anyway? Chaotic Good? True Neutral? Lawful Evil? And what is considered evil enough anyway?
No, no, am not saying that I don’t like being *good*. I owe it to the fact that I believe there is a lot of good in this world where it should be. And no, I am not being high and mighty stating that “I am good! Follow me!”
But how does one get to be evil enough and still be good? Did that even make sense?
With that out of the way, may I ask you a question?
Am I really not evil enough? Am I really sometimes too good for my own good?

to be evil is to live like a normal human would do. lie, cheat, and make mistakes for the sake of surviving, regardless of the religious order he/she belongs to.

I’m the last person to give pointers on this since my halo’s missing, but anyway.
Sometimes being “good” just doesn’t cut it. In my view, society considers good as equated to weakness, and evil equated to strength. Sometimes it’s vice versa. Being weak can be categorized under good. I.E, if you’re a pushover, letting people run roughshod over you, people say, “she’s too nice/good, that’s why.” When the truth is, you could actually just be too weak to defend your rights. etc.
Being weak or strong isn’t good or evil respectively. There are people who are evil because they’re weak, and people who are good because they’re strong enough not to catipulate to being evil.
I’ve got a couple more thoughts on this but my thoughts are all over the place right now, so sorry if this didn’t make much sense. I’ll see if I can sort it out later.

First, I believe that being EVIL and GOOD are just arbitrary names and that these two co-exist. There is no EVIL unless there is no opposite, which is GOOD, and there is no GOOD unless there is EVIL. Being arbitrary, I believe that being evil and being good depends on a person’s point of view.
Man calls anything that harms his existence EVIL, and anything that improves his existence GOOD. The same thing goes for animals – anything that harms its existence is evil, while anything that feeds it is good. Which means, that a tiger killing a hunter for food is good from the point of view of the predator, whereas it is evil from the point of view of the prey. If a man is innately bad-tempered, scolding anyone is considered good for him, and acting otherwise is bad.
Since it is arbitrary, perhaps the ideas of evil and goodness do not really exist. I’d probably go as far as saying that these are just names that offer man the convenience of identifying something. These are just two ideas that man created to advance his existence (what to avoid vs. what to pursue, in order to live) Truth is, society taught us what to view as good and what to view as evil. It’s all in the status quo. Who knows, what may be evil now may be accepted and pursued 200 years from now.
Anything that follows status quo is good, and once you break it, it’s evil. Anything that breaks your principles is evil, anything that follows it is good. As that old worn-out saying goes, “it’s in the eye of the beholder”.

You can’t force it though. Sabi nga sa Petshop of Horrors, “What is it that you truly desire?”. If your heart doesn’t want to be NOT GOOD, something will always hold you back from being NOT GOOD. 
And where’s the fun if you force it? It’s just like having schizophrenia and knowing that you have it.
After all, INSANE people don’t know they’re INSANE. I guess the same thing works with being EVIL. Evil people don’t really know they’re evil, they always have a way to justify what they do – it doesn’t matter if it’s as meaningless as doing it for fun.
lmao. who say’s you can’t be funny? wholesome is good… besides the most evil people on earth are the ones who hide it well enough for others to think that they’re saints. =p

I believe in what amy said. It all depends on the pov on who’s being good and evil.
Personally, I really don’t care being branded as either one of those. My only advice to you is live your life the way you want it to be. Find your happiness, and don’t concern yourself of what others think of you. It’s much simpler that way. And always remember….shamforlay!
