The pure awesomeness is blinding!

Jack Black as Po, the Kung Fu Panda
There is no charge for awesomeness. And attractiveness.
And yet I’d pay to see this movie again for its awesomeness, and I am not kidding about that.
Kung Fu Panda is a movie about a lazy but Kung Fu fanatic panda who finds himself being chosen as the one who will save the Valley of Peace against an impending evil. With it he must earn the respect of his master and his idols and ultimately find his destiny.
A movie targeted for kids, adu– kids at heart– will enjoy this movie. Jack Black does his role well as the irreverent and lazy panda. And the animation fully embodies his character because all his actions remind me so much of the actor who voices him (especially the intro, which about killed me, in a good way).
The rest of the characters aren’t that bad either. And the references to classic kung fu movies (and a game, as The Beloved said) added to the experience. And the treatment of mixing up the 3D and 2D animation is well done.
Despite some of the cliches (hey, this is still a kiddie movie), it was thoroughly enjoyable. There really was no boring part and it was indeed made of awesome.
And like I said, I am planning to watch this movie in the big screen again. This time, with my sister and probably a pair of shades.
