The Beauty of Nature
You seemed to call me from the distance.
Your beauty encompassing familiar matters.
Came the 23rd, the family + cousins, went for an outing at Anilao, Batangas. Regardless of my mind protesting that I have stuff to do, I am forced to come since I badly needed the break.
I didn’t enjoy myself so well, but it wasn’t that bad either.
I’ll spare you all the gore details, but I do wanna share pictures! Here’s one view from the resort. In actuality, it was breathtaking. With the waves crashing into the rocks and all. Wow.
I saw flying fishes and turtles [at least, I think they were turtles]. I swam the clear waters until I had cuts on my feet because of the sharp corals on the rocks *ouch* But yes, I’m okay, I survived. 
But I think I did more eating than swimming, though. Especially when my ninang (godmother) packed us some buko pandan ice candies, with real buko! Yum! And green mangoes, with bagoong. *Drool*
But of course, the day had to end, some time. And the sunset was sooo~ beautiful! I stared at it for awhile before I remembered to capture it with my digital camera. It was one of the rare occasions I have a chance to see daylight and sunset out of the working environment. Especially nowadays, when I go to work early and leave late.
We left the next morning. I felt tired but happy. Also guilty, because of the things I wasn’t able to do. But hey, this is one of those rare breaks I could have. So yeah, maybe I should treasure it.
