I’ve been meaning to post about this since Saturday, but I was simply too tired. Now I felt I should really get this done, or it will lose it’s timeliness.
Friday supposedly should have been a ordinary day for me, with normal workload and with the 2 day weekend just around the corner. But all of a sudden it was as random as you can get. And it involved the 3 basic meals of the day.
Breakfast
I somehow lacked sleep, and knowing the workload I have for the day, I needed a quick perk me up. I passed by Starbucks to buy my usual tall Caramel Coffee Jelly Frappucino.1 I also ordered a croissant for additional breakfast filling. When called, they gave me a paper bag with the stuff I ordered in it. It kind of amused me, as they don’t usually give me a paper bag when I do that. And to think I’ve ordered the same thing before countless times already.
Apparently, I was so amused by this that I was skipping out of the store, forgetting to get paper napkins from the service table. And I was so amused, that I kept talking to my self on the way to the office. Aloud.
The whole monologue?
Me: They gave me a paper bag!!
They actually gave me a paper bag! They don’t usually give me a paper bag :3
The other me: Yes Camille. They gave you a paper bag. Now shut up already.
Repeat n
I feel sorry for the people who witnessed that experience. T_T
At least I do now have a paper bag.
*gets bricked*
Lunch
Then came lunch. After 2 days of asking Flori out, she was finally available for lunch date. This lunch date consisted mainly of eating and heavy fangirling. I frankly never fangirled this hard before since high school. Is that even acceptable as a verb?
Flori even pointed out that I was blushing bright pink!2
I don’t know if this is healthy or not, but feeling like a high schooler some how perked me up as well.
Dinner
Now the icing to the proverbial cake. Only that this cake is made out of chocolate, vanilla, mint and marshmallows. And possibly green tea and strawberry.3
On the way to meeting Ami for dinner, I passed by the CD store near the train station to buy a fresh stock of DVD-Rs and CD-Rs. A few steps away from the store after I made the purchase, I slowed down and clapped my hands twice. Not just an ordinary clap too. Ashiya Mizuki of Osaka Gakuen will kindly demonstrate what I did. Mi-chan?

…
Yes, I did that. Minus the bowing. In Shintoism, it’s a kind of custom when they face a shrine.4 Which I wasn’t anywhere close to at the time.
And I did it at the exact time people where rushing out from the trains.
Yes, within a crowd..
It’s a good thing I stopped my self from bowing at all. I could only literally give my self a headpalm and rush to the meeting place.
And dinner was spent with Ami telling her how my day was, and her laughing in stitches. Sort of.
This day could go down in my personal history as personal weirdest day ever. I blame it on not being able to talk to actual people in person for the past few days and just watch J-Doramas and Azumanga Daioh.
So, what was your personal weirdest day like?
They actually gave me a paper bag! They don’t usually give me a paper bag :3
