When I was a kid, I often thought that having certain days or moments be recorded is a good idea. Unobtrusively of course. You record the visuals with your eyes and the audio with your ears. Then at the end of the day, you sit then and take out the full tape or disc or chip and insert it into a player. It would be an real good way to archive memories that are hard to capture with photographs and even videos, with how bulky cameras are.

But like all good ideas, it was begging to be a horrible science fiction flick. WIth all the incriminating evidences anyone can take from any person. smiley

Kidding aside, the past week was one of those days that I wish I had that kind of gadget in my head. It has been a wonderful week with family and friends. It was the first time in so many years that I felt really really special and that there are people who like and love me for who and what I really am. And damn, I really must have a new camera!

(No, I won’t go Edward Elric of Full Metal Alchemist on you)

I am not your average kind of girl. When I say retail therapy, I don’t run out and buy new clothes, shoes and make up. Hell, I think the last time I shopped for clothes was around September last year. And that’s because I needed them.

When I go out for retail therapy, I splurge on office supplies. Seriously. Papers, desktop accessories, pens, and more papers. But recently, I have diverted my shopping spree to buy “investments” for my personal goal. (As I have said in a previous entry).

I spent most of my money on technology the past 2 weeks alone:

  • Bought new and additional RAM for Blue.
  • Also bought DVD-R Drive for Blue
  • Subsrcibed to DSL
  • Bought new speakers (also for my sister who doesn’t like using earphones)
  • Bought a headset (also for all those international calls by my mom hehehe)
  • Got a wireless router

Wait, why do I need a router when I only have 1 PC at home? A wireless router at that?
