Looking Back
First of all, A Happy New Year to everyone!
Remember, this is the start of the rest of your life.

Taking a break from the busy schedule (No, I didn’t take a vacation XP), I’m answering a meme to start off the new year. I want to look back, but this is easier for me hehe.
So yeah. The quiz after the jump
1. What did you do in 2006 that you’d never done before?
Actually get paid to make a site. Not a lot of money, but it’s a start 
2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn’t make any for 2006, nor will I be making any this year. I learned that if you wanna change, it doesn’t need an actual start date. You just do, anytime you’re ready. (But I would really have to learn to drive now.)
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
2 of my cousins, from both sides of the family.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yes. 
5. What countries did you visit?
I wish I could go to Hong Kong, Singapore or Japan. *sigh*
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
Better health. *chugs vitamins*
7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
From 2004? The 7th of August (our first anniversary) June 15 I transferred from one department to another. November I transferred again.
From 2005, June I rediscovered Discworld.
And for 2006, I discovered Pinkys around April, and never looked back.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting paid to do what I actually like. And getting better with my current job as well.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not paying attention– basically the reason for any “failures” I may have done.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
The occasional fever and colds. And oh! I had to have a surgery for fibroadenoma. Nothing cancerous thank God.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Pinkys!!! Sure not very practical, but hey, they’re an investment 
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My sister. She’s growing into a great person, I just know it. 
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
The current state of our government. *sigh*
14. Where did most of your money go?
Pinkys. Books. Movies. Food. And… more pinkys. T_T I need to save.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Hnm. I can’t remember. I guess that’s because I easily get exited about many things.
16. What song will always remind you of 2006?

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Happier.
ii. thinner or fatter? Fatter.
iii. richer or poorer? Somewhere in between.
18. What do you wish you’d done more of?
Drawing/ painting. I’m in front of the computer most of the time.
19. What do you wish you’d done less of?
Procrastinating.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
Christmas party with relatives at the province.
22. Did you fall in love in 2006?
I was already in love years before– and I still am.
23. How many one-night stands?
I don’t think am the right person to be asked this.
24. What was your favorite TV program?
Guh~ I haven’t watched the good shows enough to warrant the actual term favorite. But damn, rediscovering Andromeda had me squealing. And Project Runway is a guilty pleasure.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
A bit? I dunno. Disappointed with yes, but hate no.
26. What was the best book you read?
Dammnit. This is hard. For this year, the Tiffany Aching books by Terry Pratchett had me giggling over, and the latest release of the Spook books had left me wanting for more. And I still have a lot of books yet to read!
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Lots, especially Yoshida Brothers and Depapepe. Also Ken Hirai, which I passed on to Teh Beloved. Hahaha. And guilty pleasure would be High Scool Muscial soundtrack. Damn.
28. What did you want and got?

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, The Prestige and Happy Feet. XP I didn’t get to watch that many movies this year.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 24. Just ate out with my family and Teh Beloved’s. XP
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Being really patient and paid more attention.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
I got better? XP
34. What kept you sane?
prayers, Teh Beloved, my sister, LJ communities (haha), and dinner/ coffee with few close friends.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
For 2006? *thinks* I’m torn between Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale. Hahaha.
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Everything the government did and is doing.
37. Who did you miss?
My old highschool friends. And a friendship.
38. Who was the best new person you met?
Best new person? None for 2006. Mostly met new friends from 2005 ~

You can never really just trust anyone.
