I hate dislike high-heeled shoes!

I wouldn’t be caught dead during outings or plain going-out in high heels. No sir.

Only during working hours, as I have to look my best as Assistant to the VP [Read: Assistant to, not Assistant only]. And also one or 2 times a month when going to mass.

But otherwise, no.

I don’t care if they just might make me look sexy or something. But I hate it what it does to my walking. I have this odd habit of walking like a miner. Yes, a miner. The beloved says I need to add a little swing to my hips to make it look girly. But adding heels to the equation hurt my ankles and toes. What is it with women and heels? Don’t they know it’s unhealthy? Because the blood circulation to your feet will be uneven because of gravity? Or something of that sort.

But baah~ even if researches say that fears of wearing high-heeled shoes can lead to arthritis are unfounded, give me flats anyday. I’ll walk with much comfort and ease, and less like a miner as well.

And less ankle sprains.

LOL! How exactly does a miner walk, anyway? Stomping?

My mum says that when I wear heels I look like I’m doing the catwalk. Tch.

Try walking with your shoulders thrown back and with one foot in front of the other… it’ll put a little bounce in your step and swing in your hips.

I love heels because yeah, they make me feel sexy. Lol. But I do agree with you… they’re killers. On the other hand, practice makes perfect. Get used to it and at the same time break in your heels… and you’ll end up not even noticing that you’re not wearing flats.

Well, it worked for me. lol.

What type of heels are they, anyway? The narrower they are, the more it’ll pain your arches or heels because of the pressure. And the front matters, too. The more pointy, the more likely blisters will appear and it’ll pinch your toes.

Right now I’m going through the boots phase. I love wearing boots to work.

Wow this has got to be my longest comment in your blog, ever. Lmao.

Uhm… I think when I meant “like a miner” I meant, my whole body follows when my foot goes up, and so on ^^; sort of like a cave man smiley

Thanks.
