Exhibits, CSS, et.al
Went to my professor’s exhibit opening yesterday, and al I can say is– Cool. And I greatly appreciate it. It’s an installation, and you have to really feel the whole space and moment created… And I still cant stop thinking about it. I wanna talk more about it, but I actually don’t understand it completely myself. Knowing that professor of mine, he has so much he wants you to see and feel at the same time.
And knowing him, he enjoyed doing it. He kept telling us a year before that he was too busy to make art, to do art. I’m happy for him he finally found time to do it ^___^ Am a bit inspired myself. Actually planning to paint again, just finding time to get away from the PC or that “Merchandising Techniques” book…
If you’re around Metro Manila go see it yourself. Entitled Corpora Immobila, the exhibit runs til the 27th of July. It’s at the Corredor Gallery at the College of Fine Arts, University of the Philippines Diliman. I suggest you do go see it for yourself. It’s indescribable, and you’ll be awestruck at what you’ll feel about it. ^___^ (Simple but awesome).
The food at the reception was great too. (LOL)
Saw a few of my batchmates there as well. A few, since the only usual people who go to things like this early are the ones I’m more likely to see (I have to leave early since little sister gave me a curfew XP). Well, it was great, I missed them as well… but somehow, at some point, I can’t relate to them that much anymore… Hmmm…

And yes, I am going to fix my skins. I’m using CSS damnit! And I plan to make it work for both ends. I don’t plan going back to using tables anymore, since they make the page take long to load. And I plan, when I have more time, to actually re-layout my other sites. And that’s that. CSS is a bit hard to master, but I like it soooo~ much. I really do! I already finished 3 skins looking decent (if not totally looking the same) to both MSIE and Mozilla already, and I feel accomplished ^_________^
But I wonder how they’ll fare on the Mac ;;^^ I wanna get one, maybe when I get that high-paying job I will plus a large pen-tablet. *scratches head* Oh wait! Maybe I can ask somebody to beta-test it for me. ^_~

Finally got out of the house after a long while and out into the world. I was actually skipping when I got to the University ;^^
Going out with my parents once in awhile is very different. Because then, I would be in a car and just with them… But yestereday, dang! It was… freedom. I got to commute by myself again, and walk around campus. Even if the skies were giving signs of impending rain.
No, really… I enjoyed my one day out. The little things you take for granted I greatly appreciated. I felt… alive. The long lines, the traffic… It was tiring yes, since it has been a long time since I got out– but I missed them for some reason.
Now, I can’t wait to get out of the house more often. I wish there’s just a way to balance both worlds…
