But lately, I have trouble getting to login, as their new login page doesn’t seem to work. I tried logging in many times, it somehow authenticates, but it doesn’t direct me to my account page at all. It’s a good thing I still have the last working link in my laptop’s browser history, and when I logged in using that, it got through. I just don’t get it though why Meralco won’t update their current website’s login system. Registering for a new account works fine, it’s the logging in that doesn’t work.

Anyway, for future reference, here’s the working page to login to Meralco’s online billing. I’m still waiting for my own latest billing statement if it indeed increased.

It’s not that the first week was hectic. It was just that somehow, the holidays weren’t over yet. Events here and there, an overnight trip to another side of Tagaytay I haven’t actually been to (and it’s supposedly my second home), and some more running around here and there.

But after a well-deserved feast, full body massage, and a foot spa I can say am refreshed and ready to take on another year.

So 2010, here I come!

I look at the youth of today and see that they have the same interests I had a couple or so years back. I feel nostalgic yet distant. I remember sharing the same interests as they do, sometimes even more passionate.

But here I am, concerning my self with ‘adult’ things: work, finance, responsibilities. Issues I couldn’t care less before, but now is a matter of life and death.

Yet in the distance, I feel there are so much more. Looking outside while taking a break, I know there are infinite possibilities to look forward to.

But the moment, in the here and now, stuck at the office doing overtime work.

I can only sigh.
