An Unplanned Vacation
Last week the flu virus attacked and I had to stay in bed for one whole week.
Oh sure, one whole week without work wasn’t so bad. I had a whole week of rest, something I couldn’t afford for so long. But it was frustrating because it was one week of not being able to sit in front of the computer and work on my personal projects. Plastered to the bed, and always hoping for sun even if the skies were grey. And of course, one whole week of not being paid, and we need monies, people!
But, a vacation is still a vacation. I’ve never felt so recharged in my whole life… well sort of. I’m not 100% fully recovered yet but need to work due to an ultimate backlog. 
And damn, I think that week did me some good.
I wished it was a bit longer though, without flu of course.
Alas, back to work. Heigh-ho!
